Two roads divulged into a wood and I, I took the one less traveled by and now I dont know where the Hell am I...!!! - Subash Jeyan - My co-traveller in Ladakh - Somewhere in Ladakh.
Hi and Welcome to a view of the Images from the 60kph's LKM Ride 2006. The above lines are just for you to have a inkling to the type of ride that we have had...!!! It was more of a dream come true to be able to do this ride, we covered not only the touristy lake circuit but also a new route of Wari La and the inner routes of Marsimek La and Hanle.
3 Riders from 3 different states : Subash from Tamil Nadu, Meher from Andhra Pradesh and myself from Gujarat...!!!
Total Distance covered : 3900+ kms...
Ride Dates : 3rd July 2006 to 24th July 2006

These are mainly pics of the 60kph's LKM Ride 2006 - Done with Subash - from Chennai, Meher - from Hyderabad and Myself - from Ahmedabad to Ladakh especially Changthang Plateau.
Changthang comprises one-third of the 90,000 sq kms of Ladakh and is an extention of the Tibet plateau, now in China, situated at an average altitude of 15,000 feet. It is a land devoid of roads and with temperatures that dip to minus 40 degree Celsius in winter.
