View from the Hanle Palace of the Hanle River basin. I had a tough time getting upto the palace, the road is half built and then had to climb up..!!!! That day i realised that the oxygen is actually less at 15000 feet..!! :-) I was panting like anything... DSCN3442.JPG |
I reached the Hanle Palace and had heard that there were old manuscripts and sculptures and was looking forward to seeing them... to my surprise there was only a snarly looking dog at the top and nobody else there. Everything was locked up. At the base of the climb for the palace, i met a lama on my way back who said that he stays there and he had gone for his bath...!!
